TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 10 October 2016 it transferred 2,513 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 547 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 672,820 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 149,970,908 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
