TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 20 March 2017 it transferred 328 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to a participant in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 1143 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 483,070 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,160,658ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
