TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

 

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 13 December 2021 it
transferred 4,123 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to
participants in its employee share plans. The highest and the lowest transfer
prices were 1279 and 1107 pence, respectively.

 

Subsequently, on 20 December 2021, the Company transferred a further 1,611
ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee
share plans. The highest and the lowest transfer prices were 1279 and 794
pence, respectively.

 

Following these share transfers, the Company holds 1,618,957 of its ordinary
shares in treasury and has 150,441,333 ordinary shares in issue (excluding
treasury shares).
