** The online learning platform announces a $500 mln share buyback program

** Says it believes its scale after acquiring peer Udemy has provided capacity to return capital to shareholders while investing for long-term growth

** Udemy acquisition completed last week, announced in December

** Up to last close, stock has fallen 28.3% YTD
