U.S. stocks dipped on Thursday, dragged down by Tesla's shares, while investors looked ahead to the monthly jobs report to gauge the health of the labor market amid concerns of an economic slowdown on the back of the U.S. tariff war. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.31% at 42,557.48. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.43% at 5,996.51, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.73% at 19,602.32.
