Building materials group CRH nears deal to buy Arcosa, FT reports June 21 (Reuters) - Ireland's CRH CRH.N is nearing a deal to acquire its rival Arcosa ACA.N, in an acquisition that would be the Irish company’s largest-ever takeover, the Financial Times reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with matter.
CRH and Arcosa are in advanced discussions and an agreement could be reached on a deal as soon as next week, the report said.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
