    * Says it will buy 1,000 shares of Baverstock GmbH, which is 
engaged in oil development investment in Kazakhstan, to maximize 
overseas investment value  
    * Says transaction amount is 8.07 billion won  
    * Says it will hold 30 percent stake(6,000 shares) in 
Baverstock GmbH, after the transaction
