S.Korean steel shares jump after Trump eases steel quotas

** South Korean steelmakers jump after U.S. President Donald
Trump signs a proclamation permitting targeted relief from steel
and aluminium quotas from countries including South Korea

    ** Companies can apply for product exclusions based on
insufficient quantity or quality available from U.S. steel or
aluminium producers, according to a statement issued by U.S.
Commerce Department
    ** Shares of POSCO  005490.KS , Hyundai Steel  004020.KS 
jump more than 2 pct, while Dongkuk Steel  001230.KS  gains more
than 3 pct 
    ** Sub-index of iron, steel and metals  .KS34  adds 1.8 pct
    ** The broader KOSPI market  .KS11  was trading up 0.5 pct
as of 0110 GMT
