May 13 (Reuters) - DONGNAM CHEMICAL CO.,LTE.  023450.KS  : 
     
    * Says it will merge with MIWON EOD CO., LTD., which is 
engaged in the provision of surface active agent, to improve 
operating efficency and create synergy 
    * Says merger ratio of 1: 1.1133332 between company and 
MIWON EOD  
    * 556,666 new shares will be issued for the merger 
    * Expects merger effective date of August 1 and registered 
date of August 5 
    * Company will survive and MIWON EOD will be dissolved after 
the merger
