SARAJEVO, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Bosnia's 300-megawatt (MW)
Ugljevik coal-fired power plant RTEU.BJ will be reconnected on
the grid later on Monday after a prolonged regular overhaul, its
spokesman said.
The plant had been taken offline in July for three months
and was expected to return to the grid on Oct. 1 but additional
works on the generator took longer than expected, Boban Markovic
told Reuters. L8N1IV27Q
Ugljevik and another 300 MW coal-fired plant at Gacko are
operated by Bosnia's second-largest power utility,
Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) ERST.BJ . Earlier this
month ERS sought bids to buy 37,440 megawatt-hours (MWh) of
baseload power to meet demand in the first week October.
