Results of General Meeting

 

 

Echo Energy plc advises that at the General Meeting of the Company held
earlier today all resolutions were duly passed.

The proxy votes received prior to the General Meeting in favour of the
Chairman were as follows:

 1            3,340,469,972  99.46  18,225,806  0.54  135,371
 2            3,340,466,725  99.46  18,225,806  0.54  138,618

 

 

1.   A "Vote withheld" is not a vote in law and is not counted in the
calculation of the percentage of shares voted "For" or "Against" any
resolution.

 

2.   Any proxy appointments which gave discretion to the chairman of the
meeting have been included in the 'For' total.
