Energiekontor rises on FY core earnings guidance hike

** Shares in Energiekontor EKTG.DE jump 4.7% in early Frankfurt trade after the German wind farm operator on Wednesday raised its core earnings guidance for 2024 above market expectations

** Energiekontor now sees consolidated EBIT in 2024 in a range of around 34 million to 37 million euros ($36.97-$40.23 million), compared with about 23 million to 27 million euros before

** "Earnings outlook above market expectations," a local trader points out, adding the hike is triggered by positive one-off effects

** The stock, which has gained 2.9% YTD, sits at the top of Germany's small-cap index .SDAXI
