The following amendment has been made to the 'Merger Update: Evolution/NetEnt' announcement released on 22 September 2020 at 07:30 under RNS No 6194Z.
The CMA has launched its merger inquiry and the deadline should have read 16 November 2020 (not 19 November 2020) for its phase 1 decision.
All other details remain unchanged.

The CMA has launched its merger inquiry and has a deadline of 16 November 2020 for its phase 1 decision.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is considering whether it is or may be the case that this transaction, if carried into effect, will result in the creation of a relevant merger situation under the merger provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002 and, if so, whether the creation of that situation may be expected to result, in a substantial lessening of competition within any market or markets in the United Kingdom for goods or services.
Invitation to comment: closes 5 October 2020
To assist it with this assessment, the CMA invites comments on the transaction from any interested party.
