** Building products maker posts annual adj pre-tax profit of 22 mln pounds ($28.6 mln) vs analysts' avg estimate of 20 mln pounds, per data compiled by LSEG

** CEO Neil Ash says trading in first two months of 2025 continued the positive trends seen in Q4 of 2024

** Investec analyst Aynsley Lammin says FORT well-positioned to deliver substantially higher core profit as market recovers over medium term

** YTD, stock gains ~1%
