Japanese smelter Furukawa plans 3% cut in second-half copper output TOKYO, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Japanese smelter Furukawa 5715.T plans to produce 21,497 metric tons of refined copper in the second half of the 2026 financial year, down 3% from the same period a year earlier, it said on Thursday.
The second half falls between October and March.
Following are details of Furukawa's output plan, with comparisons against estimated production in the first half and actual production in the second half of fiscal 2025, which ended on March 31 (in metric tons):
