Bain to buy Japanese mobile retailer T-Gaia for more than $987 mln, Nikkei reports
TOKYO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Bain Capital has agreed to
acquire Japanese cell phone retailer T-Gaia 3738.T for more
than 140 billion yen ($987 million), the Nikkei business daily
reported on Monday.
Bain will soon launch an offer to take T-Gaia private, with
major shareholders Sumitomo Corp 8053.T and Hikari Tsushin
9435.T set to sell their stakes in T-Gaia, Nikkei said.
