Hong Kong-listed shares of AIA, HSBC and Stanchart fall on China capital control fears SHANGHAI/HONG KONG, June 5 (Reuters) - Hong Kong-listed shares of AIA Group 1299.HK, HSBC Holdings 0005.HK and Standard Chartered PLC 2888.HK fell sharply in early trading on Friday amid growing concerns that Beijing's tighter capital controls could dent the business of global financial firms with exposure to mainland China.
Soon after open on Friday, AIA was down more than 3%, while HBSC fell nearly 2%. Standard Chartered dropped nearly 3% while Bank of East Asia 0023.HK slumped more than 3%.
