June 11 - UK's GlobalData DATA.L said on Wednesday it has ended talks with private equity firm ICG ICGIN.L, which had been exploring an acquisition of the data analytics firm.
This follows a breakdown in negotiations between the British data firm and KKR KKR.N last month.
ICG confirmed it no longer intends to make a bid, without providing further details.
Headquartered in London, GlobalData, which provides data analytics and consulting services across the healthcare, aerospace and financial sectors, had been in discussions with both firms since April for a possible cash offer with an unlisted equity alternative.
Last month, the deadline for ICG to make a firm offer was extended to June 11 from May 28.
