** Shares of Industrial Minerals IND.AX rise as much as 6.1% to A$0.2, their highest level since September 2, 2025

** On track to log its best session since April 27

** Mineral explorer to acquire Laverton Gold Portfolio, consisting of 15 exploration licences covering about 205km

** Portfolio located within highly prospective Laverton Tectonic Zone, one of Australia's premier orogenic gold districts

** Additionally, co is conducting a two-tranche placement of up to A$3 million ($2.17 million) to fund the Laverton Gold Project exploration programme, working capital

** About 1.4 mln shares traded so far, 10.7x the 30-day avg

** Up 34.6% YTD, including the session's moves
