gain as much as 6.7% at $56.48 
    ** Stock hits its highest level in more than four months
    ** Co signs contract to modernize electricity, gas and water
supply in Gainesville, Florida 
    ** Itron says it would help city-owned Gainesville Regional
Utilities to electronically collect meter readings rather than
paying manual visit to the user's home
    ** Including session's gains, Itron stock down 19.9% YTD
