June 24 (Reuters) - Japan Power Fastening Co Ltd 5950.T :
* Says a China-based unit, which is engaged in production
and sales of fastener, will undertake the merger with another
China-based unit, which is engaged in production and sales of
construction materials, in August
* Says the construction material unit will be dissolved
after the merger
* Says both of the units are wholly owned sub-subsidiaries
of the company
