Australia's Jindalee Lithium rises to 2-1/2-month high on US unit listing update

** Shares of Jindalee Lithium JLL.AX rise 31.3% to A$0.65, their highest levels since January 29

** Jindalee's private U.S. unit, HiTech Minerals, signs a deal with a special purpose acquisition firm to list a newly-formed entity on Nasdaq including JLL's U.S. assets

** Pro forma enterprise value for US Elemental, the newly-formed entity, is ~$571 million

** Shares on track for their best day since early September, if gains hold

** About 1.3 million shares change hands, 9.2x the 30-day average of 137,101

** YTD, Jindalee stock up 22.6%
