Australia's Jindalee Lithium slumps on unsuccessful US grant application

** Shares of diversified miner Jindalee Lithium JLL.AX
fall as much as 10.4% to A$0.215, hitting their lowest since
late Sept. 2019 as of 0140 GMT
** Co says its non-dilutive grant funding application with
the United States Department of Energy to develop a lithium
processing facility at McDermitt, Nevada was not successful
** However, co says its application with the U.S. Department
of Defense remains on track, with any potential award decision
expected in the December quarter
** About 161,330 shares change hands, 3.4 times compared
with the 30-day average
** Including day's moves, stock has fallen ~76.4% this year
