REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc (the "Company") has today purchased
16,295 ordinary shares into Treasury at 950.5215 pence per share.

 

Following the transaction, the Company holds 33,629,572 ordinary shares in
Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of  Treasury shares is
65,844,279. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a
premium to net asset value.
