Termination Notice on Funded Collective Action
Litigation Capital Management Limited ("LCM" or the "Company"), an alternative asset manager specialising in dispute financing solutions internationally, announces that it has received a termination notice from a funded party for the alleged breach of a litigation funding agreement in relation to a collective action that it is funding in the Competition Appeals Tribunal. LCM disputes the validity of the termination and has retained appropriate legal representation. LCM is currently considering a number of options and is discussing these options with its capital providers.
The investment is co-funded by Fund 2. LCM has invested A$2.7 million of its own capital into the case and the value of the investment was held at A$2.4 million as at 30 June 2026.
