** Shares of Lord Resources Ltd LRD.AX rise as much as 15%
to A$0.23 — set for their best day since Nov. 23, if gains hold
** The mineral explorer says it has accelerated lithium
exploration activity at its Horse Rocks project in Western
Australia
** Says it completed sampling programs in the past few weeks
and identified "elevated near surface lithium" at the project
** LRD hits its highest level since Dec. 8
** Shares down 4.8% since its debut on April 7, as of last
close
