RNS Number : 3112P Marshalls PLC 19 January 2026

19 January 2026

Marshalls plc

('Marshalls' or 'the Group')

Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

Marshalls, a leading manufacturer of sustainable solutions for the built
environment, today announces the appointment of Simon Bourne as Chief
Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Simon was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer on 27 November 2025. At
that time, a search and selection process was initiated with independent
advisers to appoint a permanent Chief Executive Officer. This process included
a robust evaluation of internal and external candidates.

Simon's appointment reflects his extensive business and leadership experience,
having been with the Group for more than 10 years in a variety of senior
operational and commercial roles, and a full member of the Board since 2022.
His appointment supports the Board's focus on execution as the Group
accelerates its delivery of the 'Transform & Grow' strategy.

Commenting on the changes, Vanda Murray OBE, Chair, said:

"Simon has been integral to the growth and development of the Group over the
last 10 years. His appointment not only supports our desire to accelerate the
execution of the Group's strategy but is deserved recognition of his proven
ability to drive change and continuous improvement throughout the Group's
businesses."

Simon Bourne, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"I am honoured to be appointed as Marshalls' Chief Executive Officer. We have
a strong group of businesses, built on talented people and a culture that
values accountability, service and performance. The disciplined execution of
our 'Transform & Grow' strategy and the strengthening of our operational
foundations will underpin the sustainable future growth of the Group and will
be my immediate focus."
