Japan's Marubeni fiscal year net profit rises 8% to 544 billion yen

TOKYO, May 1 (Reuters) - Japanese trading house Marubeni 8002.T posted on Friday a net profit of 543.85 billion yen ($3.5 billion) for the fiscal year ended in March, up 8.1% from a year earlier. Marubeni forecasts net profit for the current fiscal year at 580 billion yen, representing a 6.6% annual increase.
