S.Korean education stocks surge on report govt considering online classes

** South Korean education stocks rally after a report says
the government is considering online classes amid restrictions
to steam the spread of the coronavirus outbreak
** Visang Education 100220.KS spikes 29.9%, while I Scream
Edu 289010.KQ surges 29%
** Several other education stocks such as Mega Study
072870.KQ and MegaMD 133750.KQ rise more than 20%
** The education ministry and ruling party officials met on
Saturday to discuss introducing online classes - Yonhap News

** The report says the government is set to make a decision
on Monday or Tuesday
** Elementary and secondary schools were scheduled to begin
their school year on March 2, but have delayed the start several
times to April 6
** Education ministry officials were not immediately
