S.Korea education stocks soar on college entrance system reform order

** Shares of South Korean education companies surge after
President Moon Jae-in tells policymakers to review the current
college entrance system
** Moon says previous efforts to improve the system have
failed to convince many South Koreans that it is fair and just,
and thus it needs further review, according to the presidential
office
** His remarks on Sunday ahead of a state visit to Southeast
Asian nations fuel investors' expectations that private
education and consulting firms are likely to benefit from the
potential reform
** Shares of Mega MD 133750.KQ jump as much as 30%,
hitting the daily price limit, while Mega Study 072870.KQ
climbs 25%
** Shares of NE Neungyule 053290.KQ and Visang Education
100220.KS rise 14.8% and 4.3%, respectively
** The broader KOSPI market .KS11 trades flat while the
junior KOSDAQ market .KQ11 rises 0.9%
