** Swedish shares seen opening lower on Wednesday.
** Steelmaker SSAB SSAB.ST implements several short-term measures to
mitigate the effects of Covid-19, with total annualized savings seen exceeding 1
billion Swedish crowns. ($100 million)
** Mekonomen MEKO.ST expects the virus pandemic to lead to a material
negative impact in the trading environment for the rest of the year.
"While the company believes that at this time it has adequate
liquidity, as a result of the fast-changing environment, the company has been
evaluating its liquidity and bank covenants," it said in a statement.
** Skistar SKISb.ST will close its Swedish ski resorts for the season from
April 6, the company said in a statement. The decision will have a negative
