German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 PSMGn.DE on Tuesday cut its 2025 profit and revenue forecasts, citing challenges from an uncertain macroeconomic environment in German-speaking markets.
Italy's MFE, backed by the family of late Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, closed a takeover bid for ProSieben earlier this month, securing a 75.1% stake in the Munich-based company.

The Italian energy group is in the running to secure oil field exploration licences to be issued by Libya as part of the African country's so-called "Big Round 2025", financial daily MF said on Wednesday. The 11 onshore and 11 offshore sites will be assigned early next year, the newspaper added.

Italy's top insurer has resumed talks with French bank BPCE over an asset management tie-up with the aim of extending the time frame for reaching an agreement and eliminating the penalty for Generali if negotiations fail, business daily Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Wednesday.
