April 21 (Reuters) - German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 PSMGn.DE said on Tuesday it had sold its North American business focused on content creators and podcasts, operated under the brand Studio71 US, to U.S. digital content firm Fixated.
As a result, ProSieben now expects a moderate decline in group revenue in 2026, compared with a previously forecast slight decline.
Parties agreed not to disclose the financial details of the deal, which was closed on Monday.
The sale comprises U.S. brand Studio71 and all its subsidiaries.
Studio71 US, which had been part of ProSieben since 2015, operates an extensive content creator network and podcast business in North America.
Studio71's operationally independent business in German-speaking countries remains part of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.
After a takeover by Italy's MFE MFEB.MI in autumn 2025, the broadcaster has sharpened its focus on entertainment operations and offloaded several non-core businesses.
