Indonesian rupiah manageable after shock MSCI warning, official says JAKARTA, Oct 23 (Reuters) - The movement of the Indonesian rupiah remained manageable following global index provider MSCI's shock warning last week that it could demote Indonesian equities to "standalone" market status, an official with the country's central bank said on Friday.
Erwin Hutapea, the head of the monetary management department at Bank Indonesia, said the bank would respond if needed to ensure a balance of supply and demand in the foreign exchange market.
