April 21 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes were subdued on Tuesday, as renewed concerns about the Middle East war halted an early rally in stocks and overshadowed earnings optimism. .N

At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.42% at 49,233.57. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.56% at 7,069.57, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.58% at 24,262.82.
