Nidec unveils improvement plan, delays release of quarterly financial results
TOKYO, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Japan's Nidec 6594.T submitted an improvement plan to the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Wednesday after being placed on a "special alert" by the bourse last year for revelations of suspected accounting irregularities at overseas subsidiaries. The Kyoto-based electric motor maker also delayed the release of its financial results for the October-December quarter, saying it would disclose them more than 45 days after the end of the period.
