** Shares of Noronex NRX.AX rise as much as 13.3% to A$0.017, their largest intraday pct gain since October 31

** Stock hits its highest level since November 3

** The copper explorer enters an agreement to divest Witvlei project in Namibia to a privately owned mining group for A$4.5 million ($2.90 million)

** Says cash proceeds from the sale will be used for exploration activities at co's Etango North uranium project

** More than 2.7 million shares change hands, 2.9 times the 30-day average

** Stock up 45.5% YTD, including the day's moves

($1 = 1.5497 Australian dollars)
