Copper miner Noronex climbs on JV deal for project expansion in Namibia

** Shares of ASX-listed copper miner Noronex Ltd  NRX.AX 
rise as much as 7.7% to A$0.14, their biggest intraday since
Aug. 12
    ** Co announces expansion of its copper project portfolio
with a new joint venture deal signed over the Snowball Copper
project located on the Kalahari Copper Belt in Namibia

    ** NRX says it has entered a JV deal with the Heyn Ohana
Investment, a Namibian company that is the 100% holder of the
Snowball Project
    ** Co has also agreed a placement to raise about A$4.5 mln
($3.27 mln) (before fees) at 12 cents per share to accelerate
exploration on its projects
    ** NRX hits highest since Sept. 14
    ** Stock up 13% YTD as of last close
