ASX-listed shares of gold explorer Panther Metals slumps on debut

** Shares of Panther Metals Ltd PNT.AX fall as much as
12.5% to A$0.175 on their ASX debut
** Gold explorer raised A$5 million ($3.58 million) in its
initial public offering (IPO) urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2SU11K
** About 25 mln shares were offered at A$0.20 per share
** Says the proceeds from the IPO will be used for
exploration at multiple projects in WA
** Shares open trading at A$0.195
** About 1 mln PNT shares change hands
** A number of recent IPOs on ASX 200 have fallen on their
debuts due to currently bleak stock market conditions
($1 = 1.3982 Australian dollars)
