Steppe Cement Ltd ("Steppe Cement") has received notification from Apollo Asia Fund Limited that it has acquired 8,649,054 ordinary shares in Steppe Cement at average price of GBP 0.2578.  Following the acquisition, Apollo Asia Fund Limited holds 19,890,820 ordinary shares representing 9.08% of the issued share capital of Steppe Cement.
