** Metal explorer secures A$3 mln ($1.98 mln) via share placement from Tribeca Investment Partners at A$0.085 per share

** Tribeca to become institutional shareholder; proceeds to fund Beatty Park South gold project exploration in Western Australia

** More than 38 million shares traded so far, 8.5 times the 30-day average

** Stock up 852.4% YTD, including the day's moves
