U.S. stocks dropped on Wednesday as turbulence at Credit Suisse renewed fears of
a banking crisis, while data hinting at economic weakness kept alive hopes of a
less aggressive monetary policy move by the Federal Reserve in March. .N
At 11:38 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.70% at
31,609.24. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.47% at 3,861.5 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was down 0.98% at 11,316.174.
