** Shares of Volt Resources  VRC.AX  rise as much as 50% to
A$0.006, their highest level since May 10
    ** Stock on track for best day since May 26, 2020, if
current gains hold
    ** The minerals and battery materials co says development of
new purification technology for production of ultra-high purity
graphite
    ** Co says new technology produced ultra-high purity
graphite for use as a pre-cursor material for active anode
material
    ** Adds relatively low capital development cost process
could lead to early stage revenue generation
    ** Around 8.5 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 2.1 mln shares
    ** Stock has fallen 38.5% this year, as of last close
