** Shares of Volt Resources VRC.AX fall 14.3% to A$0.006, marking their biggest intraday pct loss since October 28

** Critical minerals co says firm commitments received to raise A$2.23 million  ($1.45 million) at an issue price of A$0.006 per share

**  Issue price at a 14.3% discount to stock's last close on Thursday before it went on trading halt pending announcement

** Funds will be used for feasibility study of high-purity graphite refinery in Alabama, U.S., and others

** About 10.3 mln shares change hands, 2x the 30-day average volume

** Stock has doubled in value so far this year
