New Zealand's Warehouse Group rises on annual profit swing

** Shares of The Warehouse Group WHS.NZ gain as much as 4% to NZ$0.635 to hit their highest since September 9
** General merchandise retailer reports FY26 net profit after tax of NZ$11.2 million ($6.32 million), compared with a net loss after tax of NZ$2.8 million last year
** Says sales in the first eight weeks of FY27 were largely in line with the previous year
** Stock down 11.7% year to date, including the session's moves
