** Shares of Warehouse Group Ltd  WHS.NZ  slump as much as
14.6% to NZ$2.050, their biggest intraday pct loss since March
26, 2020
    ** Retail service company says HY net profit after tax fell
60.9% to NZ$17.4 mln ($10.82 mln)
    ** Company says HY sales grew 4.8% to NZ$1.8 billion
    ** WHS expects the remainder of FY23 to be challenging
    ** Shares hit their lowest since Oct. 9, 2020
    ** Stock down 7.7% YTD, as of last close
