common stock, representing 10.4 percent of outstanding on March

    * Share repurchase price is 848 yen per share, the closing 
price 
of Feb. 28, or up to 7 billion yen in total 
    * Says it will retire 9.3 million shares (11.4 percent of 
outstanding) of its common stock on March 9 
    * Says the total shares outstanding 72 million shares after 
the
