One killed in attack at Zijin's Buritica gold mine, Colombia mining group says BOGOTA, May 28 (Reuters) - Colombia's national mining association on Thursday reported that an attack at Zijin Gold's 2259.HK Buritica mine had left one worker dead and another injured.
Zijin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Last year the firm had to temporarily pause production at the country's largest gold mine after an armed group of illegal miners broke into the site and damaged a power source with homemade bombs.
