       Aug 26 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Monday:

        **  Asia Cement (China)'s  0743.HK  shareholders have
rejected its majority owner's take-private offer, it said.

        ** Drug distributor McKesson  MCK.N  said it would buy a
controlling stake in community cancer center Florida Cancer
Specialists & Research Institute's business and administrative
services unit, Core Ventures, for $2.49 billion in cash.

    ** UCB  UCB.BR , a Belgian biopharmaceutical firm, said it
would sell its Chinese neurology and allergy business to
Singapore-based asset management group CBC and Abu Dhabi

    ** Swiss drugmaker Novartis  NOVN.S  said it had received a
binding offer from Germany's Siemens Healthineers  SHLG.DE  to
