Nov 5 (Reuters) - Britain's financial regulator extended the deadline for its consultation on a motor finance compensation scheme on Wednesday, as lenders and consumer groups said they needed more time to analyse extensive market data.
The Financial Conduct Authority pushed back the consultation closing date to December 12, 2025. It still expects to publish final rules in early 2026, saying it will now be either February or March.
